SEO news agency's are reporting Page Rank as being dead, even Bruce Clay said it was coming ages ago, and in certain SEO forum topics, several certain individuals think that back-links play no role in SEO anymore, they will claim it's an ancient tactic used in the hay day to fool search engines and they will say not to do it, the same people will also say back-links don't matter any more. They must be Republicans : ) ...
The naysayers problem is they try trading links with any site, using link farms. You need relevant links! That means trade links with sites that are similar to your own, otherwise it could be considered link spam by Google and other major search engines.
